Novigrad is a small city located on the west Istrian coast, where the Mirna river flows into the Adriatic sea. It has been inhabited since the Antiquity which gives it a long and interesting history that can be seen in its medieval walls and ramparts. In addition to the cultural attractions, Novigrad is also welcoming visitors with numerous events and concerts each year. And, most important thing, Novigrad is a very pleasant city not overfilled with touristic businesses, which make it very enjoyable to walk in as you are not always accosted by the vendors trying to make tourists pay the high price.
