Zadar is a famous Croatian city located in the North of the Dalmatian coast. It has approximately 75.000 inhabitants, which makes it the 5th biggest city in Croatia. The city is mainly known for its old town, located on a peninsula. Zadar is also a port strategically located. The city welcomes about 150.000 tourists per year, and the number is still growing each year. According to Alfred Hitchcock's words, Zadar would have the most beautiful sunset in the world. Zadar was also elected best European destination in 2016.
